Rebecca and Rachael represented a transgender parent during non-accidental injury proceedings. Our client had not had contact with the children who sustained multiple fractures therefore we were able to secure an early judgment, prior to the lengthy fact-finding hearing, that our client was not within the pool of perpetrators and could be excused from attending the fact finding hearing. Our client went on to have a successful parenting assessment, leading to the return of her child to her care.
