Rebecca was able to secure an early judgment, prior to the fact-finding hearing, that our client should not be included in the pool of perpetrators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a0248ba3567cb231c7382de97e68d778 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#540871\"><strong>Re L (2023)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-798dd746f1b19d90601ce8494d646d00 wp-block-paragraph\">Rebecca represented a father, diagnosed with Aspergers, accused of shaking baby syndrome after his child was found to have multiple fractures and subdural collections. She significantly supported our client throughout the proceedings to ensure effective participation and understanding of the proceedings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a94c0617781d523a091382ce28709fe6 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#540871\"><strong>Re D (2023)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-76f3f3b00dcd039fc441ca9c1af3e5dc wp-block-paragraph\">Rebecca and Rachael represented a transgender parent during non-accidental injury proceedings. Our client had not had contact with the children who sustained multiple fractures therefore we were able to secure an early judgment, prior to the lengthy fact-finding hearing, that our client was not within the pool of perpetrators and could be excused from attending the fact finding hearing. Our client went on to have a successful parenting assessment, leading to the return of her child to her care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e4a801015435b143a94b207a41584e4a wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#540871\"><strong>Re T (2021)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9a9ec70f9e73f712b870bff441087118 wp-block-paragraph\">Rachael represented a father involved in alleged non-accidental injury skull fracture. With Rachael\u2019s help through rigorous and detailed statements, the Court found that the injury was caused accidentally following a previous birth injury which had been re-traumatised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3b67f0c0a08a14242e7d37ab07f885a6 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#540871\"><strong>Re A (2023)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e1c969ba5c723b361142ef2e5535dde6 wp-block-paragraph\">Rachael represented a father involved in alleged non-accidental injury leg fractures and suspected sexual abuse. With Rachael\u2019s assistance, the experts found no supporting evidence to support sexual abuse and the fractures identified on the scans were identified incorrectly.
